Dementia Services from 1st December 2016

In the summer of 2016, Central Bedfordshire Council ran a competitive tender process for support services for people living with dementia and their carers.

Tibbs Dementia, Carers in Bedfordshire and the Alzheimer's Society all worked together to commission a range of services to help people living with dementia, and carers, to understand the condition and maintain their wellbeing. The aim is that the organisations commission and deliver support – and with the local authorities and the East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) - give people across Bedfordshire affected by dementia a range of joined up services that would meet their needs along all stages of a dementia journey.

The full list of services can be found here and are under a new contract from 1st December 2016. Some of these services are ongoing; some are new so will not necessarily start immediately on 1st December 2016.
