 Join us in our biggest challenge yet - The Big Swim! In Partnership with Fusion Lifestyle.

The Event

We'll be swimming the length of the English Channel at Robinson Pool - challenging a team of determined people to complete 1025 lengths (collectively) to raise money for our services to support unpaid carers in our county!

Saturday 16th February - 12:30 - 3pm
Robinson Pool & Fitness, Bedford,  MK40 2JZ

Do as many - or as few - lengths as you feel able, and be part of a team effort to complete this challenge. Receive a certificate of participation and get involved in the community spirit. In the water, we'll be joined by many local business' doing their part to help carers.

- Who can join?

  • You must be able and well to complete at least one length (33 metre) of a swimming pool unaided. If you have any health concerns, please consult your GP before registering.
  • You must be over the age of 10 years old

- How to register your place:

To register for this event, you can book your place on our Eventbrite page here.
Please note there is a registration fee of £5 to secure your place in this challenge.

- What to do next:

You can practice your swimming technique - or just dive right in on the day - have a look at the Robinson Pool facilities here.

We are asking for a minimum sponsorship of £50. You can find more information and tips on fundraising in our Fundraising Starter Kit below. 

You can use the sponsorship form in the starter kit below, set up your own fundraising page or ask for your friends and family to donate via the Carers in Bedfordshire Big Swim page.
If you'd like for donations to be given via our Wonderful fundraisier, please remind your supporters to include your name alongside their donations (so we can see a true total of how much you've been able to raise!)
