  • Survey of Adult Carers in England - Central Bedfordshire results

This national survey takes place every other year and is conducted by Councils with Adult Social Services Responsibilities (CASSRs). The survey seeks the opinions of carers aged 18 or over, caring for a person aged 18 or over on topics that are considered to be indicative of a balanced life alongside their unpaid caring role. Questions covered their quality of life, and their general health and well-being.

900 surveys went out in January 2019 to a representative sample of carers known to Central Bedfordshire Council, with a 46% complete response rate.

  • Adult Carers Survey - Carers in Bedfordshire

This local survey is also conducted every two years. It is used to gather information on carers' situations, on the support they have received and how helpful that support has been.

Central Bedfordshire Council commissioners will be presenting the results (Jane Moakes, Head of Strategic Commissioning and Mark Fensome, Senior Strategic Commissioning Officer, Adult Social Care.

The results of both surveys will be used to help shape local services over the coming years.
