Coronavirus is making life difficult for everyone but Carers are feeling the strain more than most.
Some Carers are looking after loved ones without day care or respite and many are dealing with increasingly difficult circumstances as the pandemic continues. The end of lockdown is not necessarily in sight for those looking after people with long-term health conditions.
Carers in Bedfordshire is here to offer as much support as we can.
“It's lovely to know you're there. Thank you so much”
“You've kept my spirits up with your phone calls”
A donation to Carers in Bedfordshire could put a reassuring voice on the other end of the phone or pay for an online coffee and chat group to reduce a carer’s isolation. However, it’s important to look after yourself too. That’s why you will receive a small gift of your choice if you make a donation.
- Three greetings cards to send to family or friends
- An invitation to an online cookery demonstration for you and a friend*
- A surprise gift later in the year
Or, if you don’t want a gift, you can still donate and know that you’ll be standing side by side with carers across Bedfordshire.
Cookery demo: Our very own Misbah Mehmood will be showing us how to make a curry on 8th July at 7.30. The demo will be online and last for about an hour. If you can’t join us then, we will send you a recording.
Use the form below to donate and choose your gift. If you don’t want a gift but would like to donate you can do that too.
