Meet the Team

Meet the Team behind the Memory Navigation Service

The team is made up of trained staff and volunteers

sally petre 170518    Sally Petre, Dementia Services Lead, Carers in Bedfordshire

Sally has worked for Carers in Bedfordshire for over 10 years. Sally has previously worked as a social worker for several local authorities as well as for the Alzheimers Society in Central Bedfordshire.

Christine Marsh, Dementia Carers Support Worker and Memory Navigator, Carers in Bedfordshire

Christine has worked for Carers in Bedfordshire since August 2017. Previously she worked for Milton Keynes Council for about 10 years in the Community Dementia Team. Her work there focussed on supporting people with memory loss/dementia and their carers by way of group work, 1 - 1 support and Cognitive Stimulation Therapy.

Anni Berman, Dementia Carers Support Worker and Memory Navigator, Carers in Bedfordshire 

Anni was a teacher for over 20 years in mainstream and special schools. Having retrained, she then worked as a librarian for 7 years. Anni has 20 years’ experience caring for both her parents. For 10 years she cared for her Mum who had Alzheimer’s disease, and for a further 10 years after that she cared for her Dad.

Lisa Head, Client Response Coordinator, Dementia Support in Chiltern Vale and Leighton Buzzard

Lisa has worked for Carers in Bedfordshire since July 2015. Previously, Lisa worked in administration, ran her own company providing classes for new parents and worked with families giving 1 - 1 support, guidance and information. Additionally, her work with SEPT offered targeted support in a long term volunteer role and she was also a carer for her Grandmother who had vascular dementia.
