Would you like to support carers just by going about your daily life?
Co-op members can now do just that.
From 24 October 2021 to 22 October 2022, every £1 spent by members on selected Co-op products will generate a 1p donation. Members can choose where their donations go from a list of selected charities – and Carers in Bedfordshire is on that list.
The money raised by Co-op members will pay for on online activities that improve wellbeing and bring carers together. These are activities that we started in lockdown and want to continue even as the pandemic comes to an end.
What to do next
Start at our dedicated cause page on the Co-op website or use the Co-op app on your phone (see video below).
If you’re already a Co-op member, sign in to your account and select Carers in Bedfordshire as your chosen cause. See the video below of how to select Carers in Bedfordshire as a charity on the Co-op app.
If you’re not a member yet, set up an account and then nominate us to receive the donations from your future spending.
Once you’ve selected us as your chosen cause, use your membership card every time you shop at a Co-op. Your donations will soon add up. Perhaps you’ll fund a relaxing yoga session for a carer who needs a break. Or a social group for carers who want to talk to someone in the same situation.
