Emma Clements from Choice Support will speak about the Care Quality Commission (CQC). She’ll explain how you can have give feedback – good and bad – about your GP surgery, dentist, hospital, care provider or care home, and why your view is important.
The role of the CQC is to monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and to publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose care
A commissioner from Central Bedfordshire Council will attend as an observer; one of our trustees may also attend. Janice Styles, support worker, will also be on hand in case of any queries or help you might need.
