We are now fully subscribed., thank you.
We are pleased to offer (weather permitting) a guided mindfulness in nature walk provided by Beds Rural Communities Charities to a limited number of our carers. Your guide, Nicola Schofield, is a trained forest therapy and natural mindfulness guide. She has a background in ecology and helping people to connect with nature. The walk will take place at Ampthill Great Park.
‘A chance to unwind and calm your minds as we connect to nature. During this gentle walk, you’ll have the chance to experience how nature can support your mental health and wellbeing. As part of the session, you will be guided to mindfully connect to nature and explore what the season has to offer. The walk is based on the principles of forest bathing, which is the practice of slowing down and immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the woods. There will be a complimentary hot drink and chat to finish the session.
Sign up for Mindfulness in nature walk. Places are limited, allocated on a first come basis and will be confirmed by email.
This event is being funded by Central Bedfordshire Council with no cost to our carers.
