Why not connect with nature, this February half term? We welcome you to join us for a Family Themed Nature Activity of Willow Weaving which the Wildlife Trust will be providing.
This activity will involve creating a Bird Feeder like the one shown in the image. All materials will be provided, namely the willow, a weaving base, string and secateurs and no previous experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for children age 7 or over and their parent(s).
Megan from the Wildlife Trust will lead the session, taking attendees through the process step by step. An additional representative from the Wildlife Trust will be on hand to provide additional support and help wherever needed, as well as a representative from CiB.
The activity will be held at the Scout Hall in Ampthill situated on the border of Cooper’s Hill nature reserve. We hope to get some outdoor activity weather permitting. There is on-street parking available within easy reach of the venue and toilet facilities are available at the venue.
This activity was on a first come first serve basis and is now full.
There is no charge for this activity. Carers in Bedfordshire is a charity and relies on donations, if you would like to make more activities like this possible for other carers now and in the future, you can do so on this via our JustGIving page
