By registering with us as a carer you will get access to a whole range of services, including advice, information, access to our groups, events and carers grants.

Register For Support

We encourage everyone to register using our online form, as it’s the quickest and easiest way. However, those that can’t access the form or don’t have an email address, please give us a ring on 0300 111 1919.

Our services are for:

  • Those who live in Bedford Borough or Central Bedfordshire.
  • Those who are registered with a GP practice in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough.

What happens once I register?

Once you have registered, you’ll get a welcome email (remember to check you junk mail) or letter in the post and you are then welcome to take up our services. We assess your level of need from what you have told us on the registration form. Carers with a high level of need will be contacted as a priority by our early response team to make sure we offer the right level of support in a timely manner.

All other carers will be contacted by us within around 3 months. Please do get in touch before then if things change and your caring role has become more difficult.  Our experience tells us that things can change very quickly for carers. That’s particularly true  if you are looking after an older person and their health deteriorates.
