Coronavirus update for volunteers
In order for us to best support carers, we have taken the decision to suspend all groups and events so that we can put additional resource into our telephone support service. We are still here for carers even if we can't see them face to face.
From Thursday 19 March
- Support workers will be working from home and can be contacted by mobile phone and email
- A skeleton staff of no more than 4 people will work from the Bedford office, mainly to field calls
- The Biggleswade and Leighton Buzzard offices are closed as are the Carers Lounges
We are not asking any volunteers to work from home for us during this time. We will be in touch with you now and again as there is still a lot we can do by using the internet - so watch out for our emails!
And of course we are here for you if you need any extra help at this time. If you are going stir crazy, I, Linda and your staff link will be on the end of the phone!
Thank you for your patience, stick with us and take good care.
