Once you have decided the location, date and time of your bake sale, you want to create your posters and invitations. Ideally host your party somewhere you know there’ll be lots of people passing or at your home or place of work.

Download or print our Cake for Carers resources, put up posters, create social posts and share your event details across your on and off-line channels before and during the event.

An extra prize raffle or game will help boost your fundraising. For example, Guess the weight of the cake? or How many cookies in the jar? will get guests involved and competing for the prizes.

You can make suggested donations for your bakes or set fixed prices. Whatever you feel will work best for your audience.

Remember to label your bakes and treats to protect any guests who are avoiding certain ingredients

Paying in your donations

Simply add your final donation to our donation page www.carersinbeds.org.uk/donate/ and remember to mention Cake for Carers in the “Why are you donating today?” section. Please leave us a name and contact so we can thank you too!

For cashless donations or those supporters who can’t join you on the day set up a JustGiving page www.justgiving.com  for your event, choose Carers in Bedfordshire and share your link on social media before, during and after the event.
